Daisy Lee (Patrick) Sexton

Daisy Lee Patrick Sexton, 82, Wellington,KY, passed away at Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, KY on Tuesday, October 1,2019 after a brief illness. Born October 26, 1936 in Seitz, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hamilton (Bud) and Pearlie Williams Patrick. Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband of 51 years, Roy Sexton, two sisters, Ethel Patrick and Ruth Bottoms, six brothers, Earnest Patrick, Ceasar Patrick, Sam Patrick, Wiley Patrick, Alton Patrick and Hager Patrick.

Surviving is four sisters-in-laws, Lena Patrick of Xenia, OH, Ina Sexton of Jackson, KY, Maxine Sexton of Carey, OH, and Joanne Sexton of Troy, OH, and one brother-in-law, Tommy (Shirley) Sexton of Ezel, KY. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Daisy worked at Cowden’s in Mt. Sterling for a period of time and then decided to be a full time helpmate to her husband, be it taking care of him and the house to also helping with all the farming. She loved her family and was so proud of all the nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, October 5,2019 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Pastor and nephew Mike Sexton officiating. Interment in Johnston Cemetery, Wellington, KY. Visitation will be 11:30am Saturday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Pallbearers: Andrew Sexton, Michael Fossier, Lee Preston, Matthew Patrick, David Sexton and Rick Bottom.
