Edna Rose O'Hair

Edna Rose O’Hair 81, died Wednesday, May 08, 2019 at her residence. She was a loving servant of our Lord. She was an active member and leader of Pebble Church of God, Owingsville, KY. She was born in Grundy, VA October 11, 1937 and moved to several places in Ohio and Kentucky and spent most of her days as a resident of Frenchburg, KY. Mrs. O’Hair was the daughter of the late Benjamin Arnold and Naomi Prudence Counts Rose Owens and was preceded in death by her husband, Ova O’Hair Jr. and son, Jimmy Gilbert O’Hair, and granddaughters Jeanie Christina Ferrell Purvis and April Lynn O’Hair and sisters Lucille Rose Owens, Sue Rose Stacy and Helen Rose Cooper and brother, Danny Owens; great grandchildren Bryan D. and Jennifer Purvis, and Dagon Crouch.

Survivors are brother and wife, Reverend Franklin and Dorothy Marie Rose; sister and husband Sue Owens and Hank Yoder; son and wife, Son/Brother and wife, Steve and Elsie Yates Owens, William (Bill) and Shannon Simpson O’Hair of Mariba, KY., Son and wife, Leslie and Mary Perry O’Hair, Son and wife Ova “Bud” and Alice Bailey O’Hair, Son and wife John and Nancy Turner O’Hair, daughter and husband, Jeanie and Les Crouch, daughter and husband, Joyce and James Centers; grandchildren are; grandson and wife, Kevin and Tina Smallwood O’Hair, grandson and wife, Keith and Christy Donathan O’Hair, granddaughter Rebecca and husband Chad Kidd, granddaughter Jessica Grass, grandson John Crouch, grandson Cecil Crouch, granddaughter and husband Laura and Chris Moreland, grandson Jared O’Hair, grandson and wife Brandon and Camille Martin, granddaughter Destiny Daugherty, granddaughter Selena Centers, granddaughter Olivia O’Hair, grandson Matthew O’Hair, grandson Connor O’Hair, granddaughter Rose O’Hair, grandson Jason O’Hair, granddaughter and husband Stephanie and Jeff Stiltner; great grandchildren: Chase O’Hair, Grayson Lane and Kelsey O’Hair, Dustyn, Johnna and Marshall Kidd; Lalie Crouch; Stevie, April and Tikena Grass; Madison, Macie, and Paisley Crouch; Naomi Martin, Raylynn O’Hair, and Mason, Kali, and Tenley Owens. One great-great grandson Keegan Kidd. Edna had many other Family members and friends that she loved very much.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday May 11, 2019 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Pastor Rodney Coffee, Pastor/Reverend Gary Stith and Chad Kidd officiating. Burial in the O’Hair Family Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY. Visitation will be 11:am Saturday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be her sons. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Pebble Church of God, 4857 Oakley Pebble Road, Owingsville KY 40360.
