Gregory Williamson

Gregory Williamson, resident of Kendrick Ridge Road, Frenchburg, KY passed away Tuesday January 8, 2019 in the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center, Lexington, Ky after a brief illness at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife Emma Ann Conner Williamson, his parents Willie and Alice Watson Williamson of Jeffersonville,KY. Three daughters Dawn & Larry Gray of Winchester,KY; Mary Laverty and Haley Williamson both of Frenchburg, KY. Four sons James & Trina Laverty of Hampton,VA.; John & Debbie Laverty of Frenchburg, KY; Paul Joseph & Jessica Willaimson of Lexington, KY; Alex Williamson of Frenchburg, KY. Ten grandchildren James Laverty, Joshua Laverty, Gavin Gray, Keaton Gray, Alyce Laverty, Jaynie Laverty, Elizabeth Williamson, Kelly Goodrich(Isaac), Kaylee Gray. Three great-grandchildren Madeline, Emma, Obadiah Goodrich. One sister Teresa & Bob Saylor of Jeffersonville, KY. One brother Marcus & Barbara Williamson of Buckeye Lake, Ohio. He was born on June 2,1954 in Huntington, WV., a son of Willie and Alice Watson Williamson. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He served in the US Air Force. He was a retired LPN. He was a great family man and a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family and friends will always remember with fond memories. He was preceded in death by one daughter Sheena Williamson.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday January 11,2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Burial in the Beulah Land Bible Camp Cemetery, Frenchburg,KY, with Military Honors conducted by Morgan County DAV Chapter# 132. Visitation after 6:00pm Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, KY. Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be Tony Williamson, Dave Williamson, Larry Gray, Josh Conner, Izaiah Hill, Isaac Goodrich.
