Ida Mae (Ross) Yocum

Ida Mae Yocum, age 80, of Denniston, KY passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in the Edgewood Estates Nursing Home, Frenchburg, KY, after an extended illness. She was born May, 7,1939 in Ezel, KY, to Corbett and Carmie Lawson Ross. She was a member of the Korea Church Of God, Wellington, KY. She was a retired post master. Surviving is one son David Yocum (Susan) of Denniston,KY. Two grandsons Michael Yocum (Carolyn) of Wellington, KY and Chad Reynolds of Mt. Sterling,KY. One granddaughter Katrina & Chris Wills of Mt. Sterling,KY. Seven great-grandchildren. Two sisters Virginia Peck (Lanny) of Pomeroyton,KY. Nannie Ratliff of Frenchburg,KY. One brother Curtis Ross of Wellington, KY. Host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Corbett and Carmie Lawson Ross, her husband Robert Yocum, sister Corine Prater and brother Bert Ross.

Funeral service will be 1:30pm Sunday, June 23,2019 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev. David Hale, Rev. Terry Wells and Rev. Dennis Flannery officiating. Burial in Ratliff Cemetery, Pomeroyton,KY. Visitation after 12:30pm Sunday at Menifee home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Honorary pallbearers: Dana Murphy, Garrett David Wells, Kellie Brewer, Billy Ross, T.J.Stidham.
