Anna Mae Jo Rhodes Allen ,age,89 years, 2 months and 10 days olds of Frenchburg, Ky passed away Monday ,September 2,2013 in the Edgewood Estates Nursing Home, Frenchburg, Ky after an extended illness. She was born June 23,1924 in Frenchburg, Ky, daughter of the late Joseph S. Rhodes Sr and Maezella Profitt Rhodes. Besides her parents, her husband, Frank Allen, one granddaughter, Lindsay Nickell and one sister, Juanita Sorrell preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, Ky and the retired pianist for her church. Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Micki and Dickie Nickell of Frenchburg, KY. Two sons, Frankie & Ila Allen of Stanton, Kentucky. Dusty Allen and fiancAC.e Tammy Richards of Richmond, Kentucky. Three grandchildren, Joanne Allen of Sharpsburg,KY.Frank Allen III, of Palm Springs,FL. Cody Allen of Stanton, KY. One great-grandchild, Taylor Oney. One brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Joseph "Buddy" & Wilma Rhodes, Frenchburg, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday ,September 5,2013 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rhodes and Rev. Keith McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Mack Cemetery, Frenchburg, Kentucky. Visitation 6:PM, Wednesday at the Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, Kentucky. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, Kentucky.
