Mr. John Adams Obituary


Mr. John Adams, age 85 of Wellington, Ky passed away Monday March 30, 2009 at his home.

He was born June 30, 1923 in Menifee Co., Ky son of the late W.H. Adams & Mae Cecil Adams.

He was member of the Big Woods Community Church, Wellington, KY and a W.W.II.veteran and a retired tool maker for Chrysler Air Temp. Dayton, Ohio.

He was prceded in death by his wife Thelma Smith Adams and two brothers Oscar & Ottis Adams.

Surviving is two children Timothy John & Kimberly Adams,Wellington; Barb & Chris Watercutter, Wellington,KY; Four grandchildren Tim & Kelly Adams; Amanda & Josh Barker; Tracey Adams; William Christopher Watercutter. Three great grandsons Wyatt Ray Adams, A.J.Barker, Tucker Dale Adams.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday April 2, 2009 at Big Woods Community Church,Wellington, Ky with Rev.Jess Brewer officiating. Burial in the Cecil Cemetery, Wellington, Kentucky.

Visitation 6:00 PM Wednesday at Big Woods Community Church, Wellington, Ky.

Honorary Pallbearers; Wyatt Ray Adams, A.J. Barker, Tucker Dale Adams, Charles McMillin, Christon Watercutter, Dan Cottle & David Lawson.

Active Pallbearers; Timothy John Russell Adams, William Christopher Watercutter, Josh Barker, Dustin Helton, Jerry Wells & Roy Robbins.

Masonic rites conducted by Maytown Lodge#656 F&AM 7:00 PM Wednesday at Big Woods Community Church, Wellington,Ky.

Military graveside services conducted by the Morgan Co. D.A.V. Chapter # 132.
