Mrs. Thelma Smith Adams, age 85, of Wellington, Kentucky: Loving Wife of John Adams; passed away Monday, September 24, 2007 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
She was born July 11, 1922 in Morgan County, Kentucky; daughter of the Late Malcom J. Smith and Lizzie Skaggs Smith.
Thelma was a loving Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and a Homemaker.
She attended and was the last living charter member of the Smith Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Morgan County, Kentucky.
Thelma was preceded in death by her Parents; Malcom J. Smith & Lizzie Skaggs Smith and her step mother Ella Lemaster Smith and 2 Brothers; Kenneth Smith & Wendell Smith, and also 1 Brother-in-Law; Ed Robbins.
Thelma will be sadly missed by her Family and Friends, but our loss is Heaven's Gain.
Surviving Mrs. Adams is her Loving Husband; John Adams of Wellington, Kentucky, 2 Children; Timothy J. & Kim Adams and Barb & Chris Watercutter both of Wellington, Kentucky, 4 Grandchildren; Tim & Kelly Adams of Wellington, Kentucky, Amanda & Josh Barker of Morehead, Kentucky, Tracey Adams and Christopher Watercutter both Wellington, Kentucky, 3 Great-Grandchildren; Wyatt Ray Adams, Joseph Tucker Dale Adams and Andrew James Barker, 1 Sister; Sarah Robbins of Decatur, Michigan, 1 Aunt; Mexie & Dan Cottle of Lexington, Kentucky, 2 Sisters-in-Laws; Rosie Smith of Paris, Kentucky and Alice Smith of West Liberty, Kentucky, plus a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:30 pm Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Menifee Home for Funerals Chapel with Rev. Jess Brewer and Elder Dallas Barker officiating. Burial will follow with Interment in Cecil Cemetery in Wellington, Kentucky.
The Family of Mrs. Thelma Smith Adams will be receiving Friends for Visitation at 6:00 pm, Wednesday September 26, 2007 at the Menifee Home For Funerals in Frenchburg, Kentucky.
