Rexel Rupe

Rexel Rupe, age 93, Wellington, KY passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home after an extended illness. He was born September 4, 1924
in Wellington, KY, son of the late James and Viola Wells Rupe. He served in the United States Army during World War II., and was a State Highway Supervisor. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Boyd, Paul, Norvel, Homer and James Othel Rupe, and one sister, Edith Rupe Williams.
Surviving is his wife, Mildred Taylor Rupe, two daughters, Frieda Rupe Lindon, and Rita & Bobby Henry all of Wellington, KY. One son, James & Linda Rupe of West Liberty, KY. Five grandsons, Bobby Henry, Dwight Henry and John Henry, Rodney Lindon and Greg Rupe. Five great-grandsons, John, James, and Bryan Henry,
Austin and Colton Rupe. One granddaughter, Vicky & Greg Chandler. Three great-granddaughters, Taylor Lindon, Madalyn Henry, and Emily Chandler.
Two great-great-granddaughters, Sophia Strunk and Stella Ruth Jones.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Sunday, March 11,2018 at Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Bro. Aaron Brooks and Bro .Garrie Stamper officiating. Burial in Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Visitation after 12:Noon, Sunday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey Funeral Director.
Pallbearers will be Grandchildren.
