Rhetta G. (Conway) Ferrell

Rhetta G. Conway Ferrell, age 82, of Frenchburg, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 29,2019 in the Edgewood Estates Nursing Home, Frenchburg, Kentucky, after an extended illness. Rhetta was born March 2, 1937 in Frenchburg, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Dora Gilley Conway. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Humphrey Ferrell, two daughters, Violet Hall and Cathy Purvis. One son Kenneth Dale Cornwell. Three granddaughters, Christy Purvis, Melissa Hall, and Tina Roberson. Two grandsons, Kenny Dale Cornwell and Christopher Hunt. One great-granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Purvis. One great-grandson, Ryan Douglas Purvis, and one son-in-law, Larry Roberson.

Surviving is four daughters, LueRhetta & Larry Roberson of Morehead,Kentucky. Joan Ferrell of Frenchburg, Kentucky.Gail & Brad Becraft of Carrollton, Kentucky, and Alma & David Thomas of Frenchburg, Kentucky. Three sons, Humphrey & Anita Ferrell of Salt Lick,Kentucky. Steve & Teresa Ferrell, and Andy & Samantha Ferrell both of Frenchburg, Kentucky. Twenty-four grandchildren, Twenty-five great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Thursday, January 2,2020 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Dennis Flannery officiating. Burial in the Ferrell Cemetery, Stone Quarry Rd., Salt Lick, KY. Visitation will be 11:00am, Thursday at Menifee home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
