Roy R Sexton

Roy R. Sexton, 85, of Wellington, KY passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Claire Hospital in Morehead. Born February 4, 1933 in Morgan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James and Maggie Osborne Sexton. Preceding him in death besides his parents were two brothers, James Willard Sexton, Ronnie Sexton, half brother, Audney "Jack" Sexton,  infant brother Charles Sexton also two sisters, Nina Dagg and Jessie Jones.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Daisy (Patrick) Sexton, one sister Ina Sexton, Jackson, Kentucky, one brother Tommy (Shirley) Sexton, Ezel, Kentucky and  two sister-in-laws Maxine Sexton, Carey, Ohio and Joanne Sexton of Tipp City, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a host of friends and neighbors.

Roy worked for 28 years and retired from AO Smith's in Mt. Sterling where for several different years he received special recognition for having perfect attendance. Roy loved working out on the farm and having his dog make every track with him, he also like to visit with whoever happened to be going by.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Frenchburg First Church Of God  with nephew Pastor Mike Sexton officiating with interment at the Johnston's Cemetery, Wellington,Kentucky. Visitation will be 12:00(noon)-2:00pm at the church. Pallbearers are David Sexton, Matthew Patrick, Andrew Sexton, Rick Bottom, Jim Macy and Ethan Kamer.
