Asa Harlan Leach

Asa Harlan Leach, age 81, of Hwy 211,Salt Lick, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 15,2021 at his home after an extended illness. He was born September 13,1940 at Mize, KY a son of Boyd Monroe Leach and Dora Mae Ratliff Leach. He was the Presbyterian Faith and faithfully attended the Ezel United Presbyterian Church. 

Asa Leach proudly served his country as a member of the US Armed Forces. He had fond memories of his time spent in Germany. He was a retired factory workers (Hobarts), carpentry worker and farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Andrea Havens Leach, daughter, Donna Leach Bowman (Keith), son, David Leach (Amy), Three grandchildren, Alisha Lawson (Jake), Megan Everman (Ben), Ryan Leach. Two great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Rhett Lawson all of Salt Lick, KY One brother, James H. Leach (Anna Mae) of Mt. Sterling, KY. Host of nieces, nephews & friends. Loving caregiver Dovie Smallwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Monroe Leach & Dora Mae Ratliff Leach, two brothers, J. C. Leach & Willie White Leach, sister, Lillie Mae Leach Ratliff.

Graveside services will be 3:00pm, Sunday September 19,2021 in the Upper Salt Lick Cemetery, South Hwy 211, Salt Lick, KY, with Dr. Sean Bailey officiating. Interment in the Upper Salt Lick Cemetery, South Hwy 211,Salt Lick, KY with Military Honors conducted by the Morgan Co. DAV Chapter # 132. Visitation will be 1:00pm, Sunday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY Randy Halsey Funeral Director.
