Athlene Bowman, age 83, of Means, KY passed away Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital Main, Lexington, KY, after an extended illness.She was born January 13,1934 at Cutuno,KY, daughter of the late Emery Birchwell and Lona Burton Birchwell.
She was a member of the Dixie Highway Christian Center,Middletown,Ohio,and Full Gospel Word of God,Jeffersonville,KY.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st.husband,
Everett Helton,and 2nd husband,Raymond Kern,and 3rd husband,Donald Bowman,also two brothers, Hubert & Charles Birchwell and one sister,
Faye Morris.

Surviving are two daughters,Brenda Napier Stephens (Robert Jr) of Mt.Sterling,KY. Linda Adkins (John) of Means,KY. Two granddaughters,
Melissa (Terry) Kidd, and Angie (Tom) Phillips. One grandson,David Ray (Brittany) Napier. Three great-grandchildren,John Henry, James Henry, and Asher Napier. Two sisters, Jean Dyer (Paul) of Middletown,Ohio. Della Harper (James) of Ezel,KY. One brother,Frank
Birchwell (Glenna) of Frenchburg,KY.

Funeral service,1:00pm,Wednesday,February 1st.2017 at Menifee Home For

Burial in Lovely & Amburgey Cemetery, Jeffersonville, KY. Visitation after 6:00pm,Tuesday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,Ky, with
Randy Halsey Funeral Director.
