Blake Darrell Greene

Blake Darrell Greene, age, 31, of Frenchburg, KY passed away June 5, 2023 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born March 26, 1992, in Mt. Sterling, KY to Tony Darrell & Rebecca Lynn Lawson Greene. He was a construction worker who never met a stranger and loved with his whole heart. He always had a smile on his face. He was an avid sports lover & motorcycle rider. He was an animal lover especially to his dog Ollie. He loved to tinker and do mechanic work and was a very hard worker that would lend a helping hand to anyone.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Virgil Preston Lawson & Edna Merrell Berry Lawson. six uncles, Clevie Greene, Ted & Troy Lawson, Jeff Williams, Jimmy D Amos & Dallas Ray Huff. Two aunts, Doris Mae Botts & Kristy Renee Owens Lowe. Special friend, Eric Hawkins & several cousins.

Survived by his parents, Tony Darrell & Rebecca Lynn Lawson Greene. Paternal grandparents, G.C. & Patricia Lynn Green, one sister, Latosha Lynn Greene (Corey), one brother, Tony Patrick Greene. Nine aunts, Lillian Ann Wilson, Margaret Sue Lawson, Karen Lou Huff, Cathy Ellen Amos, Rose Elaine Bentley (Doug), Janey Marie Wells (Curt), Darlena Gail Williams, Kristen LouEdna Asher, Paula Sue Johnson (Eddie). Three uncles, Mark Lawson (Irma), Tony Lawson (Christie), Jack Preston Lawson (Tina). Two nieces, Chloe LynMarie Justice & Emilia Pearl Justice & along with all his many friends & family.

Funeral services will be held at the Menifee Home For Funerals chapel in Frenchburg, KY at 1:00 PM Friday June 9, 2023 with Pastor Matt Runyon officiating. Interment will be held at the Barker Berry Cemetery in Frenchburg, KY. Visitation starts at 6:00 PM Thursday June 8, 2023 at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
