Blanche Griffey Gibbs

Blanche Griffey Gibbs,age 84 of Pine Grove Rd.Olympia,Ky widow of Allen Gibbs passed away Tuesday July 1,2008 in the Saint Joseph Hospital,Mt.Sterling,Ky.

She was born August 3,1923 in Bath Co.,Ky daughter of the late Carl Griffey and Alta Kendall Griffey.
She attended the Bethel Baptist Church,Frenchburg,Ky.

In addition to her husband Allen she was preceded in death by one son Larry Gibbs and one sister Olive Wells.

Surviving is two daughters Sharon Hemmingson of Salt Lick,Ky and LaVeda Motley of Olympia,Ky. One son Wayne & Sharon Gibbs of Salt Lick,Ky.
Five grandsons, three granddaughters, five great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Two sisters Wanda Brewer of Olympia, Ky and Myrtle Gabbard of Lebanon,Ohio.

Funeral services will be Thursday 11;30 AM July 3,2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev.Buddy Rhodes officiating.

Burial in the Gibbs Cemetery, McCausey Ridge Rd.,Frenchburg,Ky.

Visitation 6;PM Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,Ky

Pallbearers will be Grandsons & Nephews.
