Bobby Dean Hatton, age 87, of Salt Lick, passed away Monday, March 23,2020, at his residence. Born November 16,1932, in Middletown,Ohio,he was a son of the late Banks Dailey Hatton and Clista Miller McGlothen Hatton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Crouch Hatton, one grandson, Michael Richardson.
He is survived by two daughters, Violet Sharon & Wayne Gibbs of Salt Lick, KY; Connie Bell & Ova Richardson of Olympia, KY; Sister, Phyllis & Gossitt Hawkins of Franklin, Ohio; Brother, Doug & Linda Hatton of Olympia, KY. Four grandchildren; Becky Howard, Bobby Gibbs (Melinda), Tabitha Highley (Jason), Nathan Richardson (Kaitlin). Seven great-grandchildren; Alice Richardson, Connor Richardson, Arya Highley, Donovan Highley, Garrett Howard, Taylor Gibbs, Tanner Debusk (Payton). One great-great-granddaughter; Myers McKinney. Host of extended family. Bobby was a Korean War Veteran and was member of the Upper Salt Lick Church Of Christ where he taught Sunday school for thirty plus years. He was a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Beshear, a private family visitation and service will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with private burial immediately following at Crouch Cemetery, Hwy 211,Salt Lick, with Bro. Relzda McNabb officiating.
