Brenda Sue (Deaton) McCay

Brenda Sue Deaton McCay, age 72 of Frenchburg, Kentucky departed this life Friday, August 8, 2025 at her home after an extended illness. Born in Middletown, Ohio on August 15,1952 daughter of the late Bentley and Jeanette Jewel Deaton. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving is three daughters, Bobbie Jo Massengill, Betty Jo Massengill and Melissa Jo Carroll. One son Paul Massengill and wife Yamileth Massengill. Eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Host of nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents Bentley and Jeanette Jewel Deaton. Husband Robert Massengill, three grandsons, James Massengill, Christian and Marcus Williams. Five brothers.

Funeral services will be held 7:pm, Monday August 11,2025 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Jeffrey Weneck officiating. Visitation 6:pm Monday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
