Bro. James Harless Fultz, age 90 of Frenchburg, KY departed this life Sunday, July 6, 2025 at his home after an extended illness. He was born June 9, 1935 in Hog Branch, Menifee Co, Kentucky son of John Garfield and Erie Katherine Steele Fultz. He retired for General Motors, and served in Germany 23rd Battalion 3rd Armored Engineers Division on active duty February 12,1958 to February 1960, and inactive service 1960-1961.
Surviving is his wife of 67 years Evelyn D. Davis Fultz who he married on April 28,1958 of Frenchburg, KY. One sister Shirley Ellon Back. Numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Garfield and Erie Katherine Steele Fultz. Four brothers, Curtis Estill, Porter Ray, Ruben Clayton and Leonard Fay Fultz. Four sisters, Delma Mae and Lilly Claudette Fultz, Stella Owen Stamper and Lizzie Maxine Welch.
Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Bashford Cemetery, Hwy 1274, Frenchburg, KY with Rev. Justin Perkins and Rev. Steve Fultz officiating. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
