Carol Ruth (Manning) Capo-Meagley

Carol Ruth Manning Capo Meagley was born February 14th, 1943, in Artville, Kentucky, and departed this life on March 11, 2026, at her home after an illness. She graduated from Vandalia-Butler City Schools, class of 1961. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gail Meagley, and one daughter, Nichole Renee Capo. Also, by her grandparents, William Jesse and Ida Earl (Back) Craft, and her parents, Arlo Dillard and Edith (Craft) Manning. Two brothers and one sister, Lawrence Ray Manning, Sylvia Manning Girdner Powell, and Roger Dale Manning.

She had worked as a customer service representative (CSR) for US Bank in Morehead, KY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She went to the Big Woods Community Church in Wellington, Kentucky.

She is survived by two brothers, Gary Lee Manning (Cindi) and Dwayne Emery Manning. Also, her children Robin Kristina Capo; Heather Meagley Joseph (Elvis); and Keith Meagley (Karrie). There are also ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The viewing will be held March 21st, 2026, at the Big Woods Community Church, Wellington, KY, starting at 11 AM. The funeral will be held immediately after at 1 PM, with Minister Jimmy Daulton speaking words of comfort to the family. Interment in the Higgins Cemetery, Wellington, KY.
