Carrie Mae Pitts Cooper, age 86 of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday March 12, 2008 at Edgewood Estates in Frenchburg, Kentucky.
She was born August 27, 1921 in Menifee County, Kentucky; daughter of the late Anderson Pitts and Ellen Proffitt Pitts.
She was a Homemaker, an member of Eastern Star and a member of The Bethel Baptist Church in Frenchburg, Kentucky and a member of the Mt.Sterling Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her Husband; James T. Cooper, also six Brothers and two Sisters.
Surviving are, one Daughter; Gloria Wursta of California, Maryland, two Sons; James Taylor Cooper and Nicholas Cooper both of Live Oak, Florida, one Sister; Betty Doughty of Novi, Michigan, four Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday March 14, 2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Rev. Buddy Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow with burial in the Moore Cemetery on Hwy 1050 in Jeffersonville, Kentucky. Visitation will begin after 6:00 PM Thursday at Menifee Home For Funerals in Frenchburg, Kentucky.

Eastern Star Rites will be conducted by Paulina Chapter 360 at 7:00 PM Thursday, in the Chapel.
