Charles Lawrence Chandler, age 76, of Frenchburg, KY passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born May 10, 1943, in Springfield, OH to Charles Martin and Ruth Haggard Chandler. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Frenchburg, KY. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and retired from the Menifee County School Board as a high school teacher and track coach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Martin and Ruth Haggard Chandler, and his wife Sue Chandler. Surviving is his one daughter, Susan Chandler Ingram and husband Thomas Ingram; and two grandsons, Braxton Ingram and Ronion Ingram.
Funeral service will be Saturday 1:00 PM November 9, 2019, at the Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY with Bro. Lovell Stevens, and Bro. Greg Sons officiating. Entombment at the Gibbs Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY. Military Graveside Honors conducted by Morgan Co. DAV Chapter #132. Visitation will be 6:00 PM Friday at the Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be Jon Loveless, Greg Sons, Bryan Blankenship, Jason Cox, Joey Motley, and Grant Sorrell.
