Cleta (King) Hurt

Cleta Hurt, age, 58 of Wellington, KY passed away Wednesday February 7, 2024, at the UK Hospice Center in Lexington, KY after an extended illness. She was born November 1, 1965, in Campton, KY to George William & Rowena Ledford King.

Preceded in death by her parents, George William & Rowena Ledford King. Husband, James Hurt, 2 brothers, James King, Clifford King.

Surviving are her four sons, James Perry (Callie), Billy Perry, Brian & Tracy Perry, Carl & Kristin Hurt. Her Fiance, Hargis Stone, nine grandchildren, Bradley Perry, Brooklynn Liebisch, Makayla Perry, Darrel Perry, Kennedy Perry, Austin Perry, Jacob Perry, Cayson Hurt, Garren Hurt. Survivors also include three sisters, Betty McGlothin, Missy King, Sharon Patton & a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday February 11, 2024, at the Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel, Frenchburg, KY with Bro. Bryan Hampton officiating. Interment will be held at the Hurt Family Cemetery in Wellington, KY. Visitation starts at 6:00 PM Saturday February 10, 2024, at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
