Clyde Marshall Bentley

Clyde Marshall Bentley, 80 of Wellington, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Edgewood Estates, Frenchburg, KY. Born March 12, 1945 in Pikeville, KY. He was the son of the late Rudolph and Maggie Cole Bentley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: Junior Bentley, James Lowell Bentley.

Clyde is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Huffman Bentley, a son Shawn Bentley (Jennifer). Three grandchildren Dalton Bentley, Kelsey Bentley and Dylan Bentley. His brothers Danny (Robin) Bentley and Ricky (Debbie) Bentley. Sisters Alice Hall, Millie (Rudy) Vass, Sally (David) Short.

Clyde retired from construction mainly working for Elliott’s Construction in Pike County and moved to Menifee in 2002 to be close to his son and grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, working on old cars, playing the guitar and singing. He was a member of the Big Woods Community Church, Wellington, KY.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, July 26,2025 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Jimmy Daulton officiating. Interment in Big Woods Community Cemetery, Wellington, KY. Visitation, 11:30am Saturday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.

Pallbearers: Shawn Bentley, Dylan Bentley, Dalton Bentley, Mike Rogers, Russell Allen and Family and Friends.
