Danny J. Mayhorn

Danny J. Mayhorn,70, of Wellington, KY, departed this life August 26, 2024 St. Claire Hospital, Morehead, KY. He was born December 2,1953 at Matewan, WV. a son of the late Ralph & Helen Ratliff Mayhorn. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Russell Mayhorn and his nephew Wesley Andrew Singleton.

He leaves to honor his loving memory and mourn his passing, his wife Lethia Mounts Mayhorn, daughters; Marcie & Pete Mounts of Matewan, WV., Lesia & Tracy Mayabb of Wellington, KY. Son; Daniel Mayhorn of Wellington, Ky. Brothers Gary & Glenda Mayhorn, Timothy & Rochelle Mayhorn. Sisters, Sharon & Bob Goins, Pamela & Robert Singleton, and Connie Chambers. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was a retired coal miner at Chisholm Coal Company and of the Pentecostal Faith.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Thursday August 29, 2024 at Menifee Home for Funerals with Bro. Gary Mayabb and Bro. Steve Mayhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Big Woods Community Cemetery, Wellington, KY. Pallbearers: Friends and Relatives. Visitation will be 11:30am, Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Menifee Home for Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
