David Courtney Weekley, age 85, of Frenchburg, KY, departed this life Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at his home after a brief illness. Born on December 15, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio, he is the son of Douglas G. Weekley and Stella Courtney Weekley. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He was retired from Frank's Industries. (manager of the printing and packaging departments) Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Weekley, and his sister, JoAnn Silvernell. He enjoyed fishing and boating, but his biggest joy in life was his grandson Chase.
Surviving are his daughter Angela Baker and husband Darrell Baker. Grandson Chase & Natalie Stamper Baker. Stepson Tommy Silvers and stepdaughter Terry Silvers. Granddaughter Whitney Brigenolo & Evan; two great-grandchildren Dawson Stamper & Sam Stamper. His siblings are Jean Stork, Janet Simpkins, Doug Weekley & Rose, and Donald Weekley; and he has several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, June 26, 2026, at Menifee Home For Funerals in Frenchburg, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Daulton with a message of love and comfort for family and friends. Interment in Ginter Cemetery, Leatherwood, KY. Visitation: 11:00am Friday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Active pallbearers are Mike Crouch, Colton Stull, Dakota Bryant, Eddie Harris, Mike Combs, and Chase Baker. Honorary pallbearers Frank Brown and Rob Brown.
