Drew Swartz Obituary

In Loving Memory of a Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend

Drew Mckenna Swartz, age 31, of Frenchburg, KY, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026. Born on June 24,1994, in Lexington, KY to Tim and Lana Swartz. Drew is survived by his wife Paige Swartz and daughter Sunday Monroe Swartz; parents Tim and Lana Swartz, Brother, Trey Swartz, all of Frenchburg, KY. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kevin and Tracy Lewis; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nick and Bree Lewis; and niece Lilly Lewis, all of Sandy Hook, KY; his Mamaw Connie Crouch of Frenchburg, KY; and a large and loving extended family, many dear friends, and countless others who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his Poppie, Larry Crouch, Papaw Sam Swartz, Mamaw Mary Jo Swartz, and Uncle Norman Swartz.

Drew lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and deep love for those closest to him. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a cherished son, brother, family member, and friend.

Drew’s greatest devotion was to his family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Paige, and an exceptionally proud father to their daughter, Sunday Monroe. He took great pride in the life he built with Paige, and his love for Sunday was absolute. Of all the roles Drew held throughout his life, being a husband and a father were the ones he treasured most.

Drew possessed a quiet strength that carried him through life’s challenges and allowed him to be a source of comfort and stability for others. He faced adversity with courage, led with compassion, and never hesitated to put the people he loved before himself. His strength was not only seen in what he endured but also in the way he cared for others—with patience, loyalty, and an unwavering presence.

Drew believed that success was measured not only by wins and losses, but by character, effort, and the way people treated one another. He encouraged those around him to work hard, remain humble, and support each other through every challenge.

Drew will be remembered for his warm smile, his sense of humor, his generous heart, and the way he made people feel loved. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made and the love shared will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. He is seen in the smiles of his daughter, in the laughter shared among family and friends, and in every act of kindness inspired by his example. His love, strength, humor, and compassion remain woven into the lives of all who knew him.

One of Drew’s favorite expressions was, "I love youns so big!" Those words perfectly captured the way he lived - with a love that was vast, unconditional, and freely given. Drew will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
