Evelyn Cole Bartley Crouch

Evelyn Cole Bartley Crouch, age 89 of Wellington, KY passed away Monday august 11,2025 at Clark Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She was born April 5,1936 in Ezel, KY daughter of Clarence and Lavicia Lawson Cole. She was a well known business owner/accountant of Menifee Tax Service and serving her community for many years. She served as treasurer of the Menifee County Extension Board and administrator of the Beef Producers. She was an avid farmer and cattle producer for most of her life.  Devoted member of the Korea Church of God, Wellington, KY.

Surviving is her granddaughter, Ashley Pill (Josh), great-grandson Owen Pill. Daughter-in-law Avonelle Bartley Masters (Charles). Two step children, John Crouch (Tanna), Patty Gilliam (Donnie). Step son-in-law Allen Coffey. Eight step grandchildren: Kelly Moore (Josh), Mila Gilliam, Alex Crouch, Nash Crouch (Kathleen), Anna Mae Shobert (Jarred), London Huser, Lance Spencer (Shasta), Amanda Vanderpool (Ryan), Seven step great-grandchildren: Addilyn Moore, Ever Underhill, Ellie Mae Crouch, Savannah & Tripp Vanderpool, Jeremiah & Olivia Vice. Special friend & neighbor Johnny & Glenna Fugate as well as her office manager Rebecca Greene (Tony) & staff of Menifee Tax Service. Three sisters; Cora McKinney, Ann Barker (Henry), Connie Havens. Two brothers, Cecil Cole (Valerie), Ronnie Cole (Honna). Sister-n-law Phyllis Lawson. Host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence & Lavicia Lawson Cole. Her first husband Earl Bartley and second husband Eldon Crouch. Son Michael Bartley, step daughter Tammie Crouch. Two sisters Nell Murphy & Margie Preston, Three brothers Wendell, Orville & Virgil Cole.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00pm August 16,2025 at Korea Church Of God,1534 KY-1693,Wellington, KY with Bro. David Hale, Bro.Jimmy Daulton and Bro. Danny Ingram officiating. Interment in Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Visitation,6:00pm Friday August 15,2025 at Korea Church of God, Wellington, KY. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
