Frances (Langworthy) Back

Saturday June 1st 2024 God called His sweet angel, Frances L. Back home to Glory after an extended battle with lupus.

Frances was born July 12, 1946 to James “Bud” and Gladys Walton Langworthy. She was born, raised and lived the majority of her life in Menifee County Ky. Frances was a retired 911 dispatcher and truly loved serving her community. She enjoyed fishing and hiking, eating out ( especially at Olive Garden ), and shopping. To her no shopping trip was complete without a new pair of shoes. She loved beautiful flowers, a fresh garden tomato on a bacon sandwich and all things purple. She also loved sitting on her porch with a cup of coffee and watching “her” birds especially humming birds, and squirrels and chipmunks playing on the creek bank. Most of all, she loved her girls and grandchildren. Frances was a spectacular cook and kept her family close with big Sunday dinners for many many years. She hosted bountiful family reunions and fall parties and always looked forward to every family gathering. Frances gave her life to the Lord and was a member of the Frenchburg First Church of God and leaves behind a desire for all to be saved and have a relationship with Jesus and meet her in Heaven some day.

Survivors: Father of her children Donald Back, Children Dona ( Carlas ) Tufono, Denita ( Todd ) Trimble, Amy ( Dewayne ) Brown,five Grandchildren Kelly ( Danielle ) Tufono, Sarah ( Tony ) Wells, Carla ( Michael ) Mastromatto, Ethan ( Haylee ) Brown, McKenzie Brown, Ten Great Grandchildren Alex, Anna, Addy Tufono, Elijah, Kyndall, Audrey, Ben Mastromatto, Haley Wells, Raylynn O’Hair-Wells & Baby Brown. Three Great Great Grandchildren. Two Brothers Jimmy ( Jo ) Langworthy, and Mark Langworthy, Aunt Jean Hollan as well as a host of special nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Bud and Gladys Langworthy, a brother Ryan Dale Langworthy, a sister Phyllis Carol Keeton.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm,Monday, June 10th,2024 at the Frenchburg First Church of God, 142 Back Street, Frenchburg, KY  with Pastor Roger Wells and Pastor Mike Sexton officiating. Visitation, 6:pm,Sunday, June 9th.at the Frenchburg  First Church Of God,  142 Back Street, Frenchburg, KY. Interment in the Langworthy Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY.
