Geneva Frances (Heizer) Powers

Geneva Frances Heizer Powers age, 95 yrs, 7 months & 5 days of Frenchburg, KY. passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born  August 30,1927 in Trimble Bend, KY, the daughter of the late David Nelson & Bessie Campbell Heizer. Preceded in death by her, parents, David Nelson & Bessie Campbell Heizer, husband 46 years, Raymond “Jake” Powers, son in law, Don Williams, seven brothers, Clint, Frank, Harold, Seldon, Ralph, Bill & Gene Heizer. four sisters, Marie Luke, Anna Denniston Hurt, Betty Osborn, Janice Smallwood.

A member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, KY.

Surviving are her only daughter, Gloria Ann Powers Williams, two grandsons, Jeral Don Williams and Kyle Raymond Williams (Crystal). Two great grandsons, Travis & Tyler, two great granddaughters, Ashley & Chianne. two great great grandsons, Easton & Jax, two great great granddaughters, Aayla & Georgia. One brother, Kenneth (Lou) Heizer. Sister in Law, Mary Heizer.

 Funeral Services will be held at the Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel at 1:00 PM, Saturday April 8, 2023 with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Interment will be held at the Egelston Cemetery Tarr Ridge Rd. Frenchburg, KY. Visitation starts 6:00 PM Friday, April 7, 2023 at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY.  Randy Halsey Funeral Director.
