George 'Elvis' Johnson

George “Elvis” Johnson, age 70, Salt Lick, KY (Menifee Co,) departed this life Monday, June 30,2025 at his home after a brief illness. He was born September 23, 1954 in Chicago, IL. son of the late Leroy and Violet Gray Johnson. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. He was a singer and musician.

Surviving is his best friend and companion Tina M. Johnson. Two sons, John & Jessica Johnson, and David Johnson. Two stepdaughters, Trina Simpson and Karrie Brown. One stepson James Simpson. His siblings Danny Johnson, Tyrone ‘Whistle’ Johnson, and Diana Hamilton. Eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Violet Johnson, and siblings Roy Johnson and Pamelia Johnson.

Funeral services will be 1:30pm, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Cliff Davis officiating. Burial in Barker Cemetery, Mariba, KY. Visitation, 11:30 am Wednesday at Menifee home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
