She was born March 4,1982 Morehead, KY a daughter of Charles Alfrey and Wilma Hardin West. She was a Research Coverage Analyst for the College of Medicine at U.K.

Surviving is her husband Jonathan Lee Ballard of Lexington, KY. Father Charles Alfrey and special friend Nancy Ratliff of Frenchburg, KY. Mother Wilma Hardin & stepfather Gary West of Stanton, KY. Maternal grandparents Thomas & Della Hardin of Salt Lick, KY. and Betty & Bob Dyer of Morehead, KY. Father-in-law, Ronney Calton and special friend Brandy Wireman of Clay City, KY. Mother-in-law Tracy Calton and fiancé Dalcus Sparks of Mt. Sterling, KY. Sister-in-law Amber & Tony Davis of Hope, KY. Host of friends. Nieces and nephews, Alexis Davis, Hunter Davis, Trever Davis. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Charles Alfrey Jr and Vera Alfrey, and uncle Tony Hardin.
