James Edward Curtis

James Edward Curtis, age 63, of Frenchburg,KY passed away Wednesday July 3, 2024 at his home from a brief illness. He was born March 19,1961 in Mt. Sterling, KY son of the late John Curtis and Mary Sexton Curtis. He was a member of the Dayspring A Church Alive, Frenchburg,KY. He worked for a Cabinet company, Mt. Sterling, KY.

Surviving is his wife Pamela Howard Curtis, one son, Andrew Curtis, special son, Patrick Dotson. Special nieces, Brittany Coyle, and Aleah & Ozylnn Hernandez. Special papaw Phillip Welch. Mother-in-law, Velma Howard. Two sisters. Frances and Randy Allen, and Gracie Cole. Four brothers, Thomas & Sue Sexton, Rodney Sexton, Russell Curtis and Michael Curtis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Curtis and Mary Sexton Curtis. Brother, Donald Curtis, maternal grandparents, Charles and Flora Sexton. Paternal grandparents, James & Lucy Bowles Curtis, father-in-law, James Hardin Howard.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Dayspring A Church Alive, 1517 Main St.,Frenchburg,KY with Pastor Rodney Coffey officiating. Interment in the Lovely & Amburgey Cemetery, Jeffersonville, KY. Visitation will be 11;30am, Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Dayspring A Church Alive, 1517 Main St.,Frenchburg, KY.
