James Nicolaus Massengill

James Nicolaus Massengill, age 29 of Statesville, NC, passed away Friday, March 17,2023 in the Wake-Forrest Baptist Memorial Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC after a brief illness. He was born December 27,1993 in Anderson Township, Ohio. He worked as the Assistant Superintendent at construction.

Surviving are his father Paul Massengill and his wife Bertie Massengill of Frenchburg, KY, His fiancee, Erica Andrea Smith of Statesville, NC, his mother Christina Beaudoin of Miamisburg, Ohio, Three children, Izabella Rein Massengill, and twin sons Kaiden Nicolaus and Laiden James Massengill. Two stepchildren Liliana Deysi Reyes and Alexander Jose Reyes. Two brothers, Brandon & Saundra Beaudoin of Sharpsburg, KY, Adam Rutherford of Germantown, Ohio. Two sisters, Ashley Massengill and Grace Massengill both of Mt. Sterling, KY. His grandmother, Brenda McCay of Frenchburg, KY. Two stepbrothers, Caleb & Fancy Botts, Billy Joe & Denisha Huff. One stepsister, Brianna Simpson.  Countless aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services will be held 7:00pm, Friday, March 24,2023 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Pastor Rodney Coffey officiating. Visitation starts 6:00pm Friday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg,KY. Randy Halsey Funeral Director.
