James Sword Obituary

James Sword, age 57, of Shotgun Hollow Rd.,Frenchburg, KY passed away Thursday, March 3,2022 in the Morgan County ARH,(E/R) West Liberty, KY from a brief illness. He was born May 2,1964 in Jackson, KY to Willie French Sword and Susie Taulbee Sword. He worked as a mechanic.

Surviving are his wife Francys Smith Sword, one daughter, Kristina Smith, three step-sons; Matthew Kiser, James Kiser, Calvin Kiser. One granddaughter. Two sisters: Mary Ellen & Charles Bryant, Thelma & James Bryant. Two brothers; Andrew & Bonnie Sword, John & Tena Sword.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie French Sword and Susie Taulbee Sword, one infant son, James William Sword and one brother, Steve Edward Sword.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, March 9,2022 in the Community Cemetery, Shotgun Hollow, Frenchburg,KY with Bro. Tommy Evans officiating. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY Randy Halsey Funeral Director. No visitation.
