James Tackett Obituary

James Tackett, age 78, of Jeffersonville KY passed away Saturday February 12,2022 in St.Joseph Hospital, Lexington,KY after an extended illness. He was born in Hazard,KY on September 14,1943 to Willard Tackett and Wilma Fultz Tackett. He was a mechanic in Martinsville,Indiana. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.

Surviving are four children, Loretta Tackett of Jeffersonville,KY, Jamie Gregory of Winchester, KY, James Tackett and Harry Tackett both of Camaro KY. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Five siblings, Roy Tackett and George Tackett both of Denniston, KY. Alene and Freddie Jones of Denniston. KY. J.D. and Cindy Tackett of Martinsville, Indiana, and Jerri L.Tackett of Roachdale,Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Wilma Fultz Tackett.

Graveside services will be 11:00am,Thursday, February 17,2022 in the Tackett Cemetery, on 88 Friends Dr. Denniston,KY with Bro. Karl Elam officiating. Interment in Tackett Cemetery, 88 Friends Dr. Denniston, KY. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg,KY Randy Halsey Funeral Director in care of funeral arrangements. Pallbearers with be Friends and Family.
