James Dale Yocum

James Dale Yocum, age 78, of Denniston, KY departed this life Monday, April 14, 2025 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born February 9, 1947, in Frenchburg, KY, son of Charles Yocum and Elsie Kendrick Yocum. He worked at A. O. Smith, Mt. Sterling, KY and was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving is his daughter Gwenda & Gordon Trusty of Denniston, KY. His siblings Bobby Oris Yocum, Roger Paul & Cathy Yocum, and Marietta & Dennis Flannery all of Denniston, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Elsie Kendrick Yocum, son Ronnie Dale Yocum and sister Linda Faye Yocum.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 1:00pm April 17,2025 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Terry Wells and Bro. Dennis Flannery officiating. Burial in the Powers Cemetery, Denniston, KY (with Military Honorary conducted by Morgan Co. DAV Chapter # 132). Visitation, 6:00pm Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
