Janet Back Burriss, age 71, of Wellington, KY, wife of Harold V. Burriss, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Edgewood Estates Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born February 1, 1947 in Frenchburg, KY, a daughter of the late Jesse Back and Beulah Keith Back. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lindsey Elizabeth Brown and brother Robert Earl Davis. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. Also surviving is a daughter, Angela Liane Brown (Greg), and son, Dave Back (Tamie) all of Wellington, KY. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One sister, Theresa Slone (Bill) of Wellington, KY, and three brothers, Michael Back (Tommie) of Petal, Mississippi,; Wendell Back (Fern) of Denniston, KY, and Anthony Back (Patsy) of Frenchburg, KY, a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service,1:00pm, Saturday July 21,2018 at Big Woods Community Church with Rev.Jess Brewer, Rev.David Hale and Rev. Rick Back officiating. Burial in Back Cemetery, Wellington, KY. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and nephews. Visitation after, 11:am Saturday at Big Woods Community Church, Wellington,KY. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
