Jeanie Murphy Pugh

 Jeanie Murphy Pugh, age 59, of Wellington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY, after a brief illness. She was born April 15, 1966, in Mt. Sterling, KY, daughter of the late L.G. Murphy and Geneva Tolson Murphy. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior.

Surviving are one daughter, Emily Pugh of Wellington, KY, and son James Kent Pugh of Fredericksburg, VA. Two brothers: Greg & Kim Murphy of Jeffersonville, KY, and Wayne & Bonnie Murphy of Ezel, KY. Host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.G. Murphy and Geneva Tolson Murphy, and her husband, James Scott Pugh.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Menifee Home For Funerals, with Rev. Justin Sizemore officiating. Visitation: 11:30am Saturday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.

Pallbearers included Greg Murphy, Cody Murphy, Jacob Murphy, Chris Dobbins, Matthew Pugh, and William Murphy.
