Jessica L. Bishop

Jessica L. Bishop, age 39, of Frenchburg, KY passed away May 20,2023 at her residence after a brief illness. Born February 9, 1984 in Metairie, Louisiana to James Eugene Bishop and Nancy Elaine Mayo Bishop. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Surviving are her mother Nancy E. Bishop, one daughter Haley R. Bishop and fiance Christopher Barbee, Two grandchildren Carter Dwayne Hunt and Harper Mahlee Lynn Spence, two sisters Jennifer E. Elkins and Brenda Lee Bishop Gilbert (Matthew Williamson), five nieces, Lydia Elkins, Katie Elkins, Eliza Elkins, Layla Williamson, Ryleigh Williamson, and her dog Dexter Marvin.

She was proceeded in death by her father James Bishop, Paternal grandparents Darrell & Sondra Bishop, Maternal grandparents Van B. Mayo and Margaret E. Mayo. One nephew Andrew V. Elkins.

Funeral services 3:00 pm, Thursday May 25, 2023 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Interment in Bishop & DeHaven Cemetery, DeHart, KY. Visitation 1:00pm, Thursday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
