Jimmie Brown

Jimmie Brown age 84 years, 5 months and 14 days passed away on Friday, April 8th.2022 at his home after an extended illness. Born in Frenchburg, KY on October 24,1937 to George Brown and Audrey McGlothen Brown. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, KY, a retired truck driver and a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife Hazel McGlothen Brown, daughter Tina & Rich Evans, three grandchildren Amber Nicole & Brad Allen, Melody Benson and Amber Joy Evans. Two great-grandchildren, Addison Grace Allen and Knox Grayson Allen. Sister Juanita Crain, brother Terry & Patsy Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Audrey McGlothen Brown, one son James Wyatt Brown. Two sisters Barbara Everhart, Elizabeth Egelston, two brothers Johnny Brown, Buzzy Brown and nephew, Bobby Everhart.

Visitation will be 11:00am, Monday, April 11th.2022 in Bethel Baptist Church, 926 Hwy 36, Frenchburg, KY. Funeral will follow at 1:00pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Burial in Mack Cemetery, Frenchburg,KY with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post # 22, Mt. Sterling, KY at the graveside.
