Obituary
Judy Evelyn (Pugh) Murphy, age 80, of Frenchburg, KY, passed away Thursday, December 01,2022 at her grandson home in Jeffersonville, KY after an extended illness. Born in Wellington, KY on December 6, 1941 to the late J. Hobart Pugh and Mary Vaughn Conley Pugh. She was a retired Menifee County grade school teacher, and a member of the Dan Ridge Church Of Christ.
Surviving are her two sons Richard (Joanie) Murphy, Jonathan Murphy. Four grandchildren Kyle (Nikki) Murphy, Devan (Chelsea) Murphy, William Murphy, Riley Murphy. One great-grandchild Sawyer Murphy. One brother Doug (JoAnn) Pugh, sister Stella (Fred) Bishop. Host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents J. Hobart Pugh & Mary Vaughn Conley Pugh, her husband R. W. Murphy, two sisters Juanita Cline and Ruby Morris, three brothers Bob Pugh, Red Pugh, and Randy Pugh.
Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 6,2022 in Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Bro. Paul Keeton and Bro. Fred Bishop officiating. Interment in the Murphy Cemetery, Denniston, KY. Visitation starts 6:00pm, Monday in Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg,KY. Randy Halsey Funeral Director.
Pallbearers: William Murphy, Devan Murphy, Kyle Murphy, Riley Murphy, Jeff Murphy, James Bishop.
