Katy McGuire Denniston

Katy McGuire Denniston,81 of Ezel,Ky passed away Sunday November 11,2007 in the Edgewood Estates,Frenchburg,Ky after an extended illness. She was born August 7,1926 in Ezel,Ky daughter of the late Elie F.McGuire and Flora Osborn McGuire. She was a retired Libarian and was a member of the Ezel United Presbyterian Church and was the Sunday School Treasurer for thirty plus years. She was preceded in death by her husband Ishmael Denniston,her daughter Dianne Cole and one sister Marcella Solt. Surviving is her son in law,Virgil Cole and Special Friend Phyllis Lawson of Ezel,Ky Two granddaughters Beth & Arlen McNabb and Amy & David Leach both of Salt Lick,Ky Four great grandchildren Logan & Morgan McNabb and Megan & Ryan Leach. One sister Mary Lou Ratliff of Lexington,Ky .Two brothers Ronald & Geneva McGuire of Louisville,Ky and James Ray & Loretta McGuire of Franklin,Ohio and a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 11;AM November 14,2007 at Ezel United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Emily Boyce officiating. Burial in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel,Ky. Visitation 6;PM Tuesday at Menifee Home For Funerals.Frenchburg,Ky. Pallbearers; Ronnie McGuire, Darrell Ratliff,Frank Ratliff,Jack Solt, Asa Leach,Jerry Murphy.
