Marjorie (Ferrell) Thomas

Marjorie Ferrell Thomas, age 87, of Owingsville, KY passed away Wednesday May 29,2024 in the Baptist Health, Lexington, KY after an extended illness. She was born May 31,1936 in Frenchburg, KY, daughter of the late Mason and Merlie Crain Ferrell. Marjorie was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg,KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil C.’ Casey’ Thomas, Two sisters, Billie Sexton and Sue Swarts, and three brothers, Richard Ferrell, Don Ferrell, and Tommy Ferrell.

Surviving is one daughter, Barbara and Donnie Razor, one son, Douglas and Paula Thomas. Five grandchildren: Nicki Bush, Katrina Byrd, Joe Byrd, P.D. Thomas, and Ewell Thomas. Six step grandchildren; John Razor, Cody Razor, David Razor, Brian Donahue, Josh Donahue, and Logan Donahue. Eight great-grandchildren; Allie Campbell, Trevor Swartz, Mattie Thomas, Landon Thomas, Jace Byrd, Dominick Byrd, Delanie Byrd, and Riley McCoy. Four step great-grandchildren: Clay Razor, Cade Razor, Cole Razor, and Brooke Razor. Three Great-Great Grandchildren: Henry Campbell, Harper Campbell, and Kinley Reese Hamm.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Sunday, June 2, 2024, in Menifee Home for Funerals with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Interment in the Ferrell Family Cemetery, Hwy 211, Salt Lick, KY. Visitation, 11:00am, Sunday in Menifee Home for Funerals, Frenchburg,KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral director.
