Mary (Williams) Akers

Mary Williams Akers, age 87 of Frenchburg, KY passed away Saturday April 12, 2025 at her home after and extended illness. She was born June 21,1937 in Forest, Louisiana daughter of James Wilson Williams and Littie May Bankston Williams. She was the owner of Heat & Air Condition business. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bill Akers and three children.

Surviving is one sister Betty Louise Williams, three brothers-in-law, Ellis Akers, Tony Akers, Donnie Akers. Three sisters-in-law Mary Linda Cecil, Brenda Harris, Sherry Akers and nephew Billy Taylor.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Tuesday April 15,2025 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Dennis Flannery officiating. Burial in the Powers Cemetery, Denniston, KY. Visitation 11:00am, Tuesday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be her church family.
