Mary Jean (Thomas) Lawson King

Mary Jean Thomas Lawson King age 46 of Frenchburg,KY passed away Tuesday November 30,2021 in the St.Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. She was born May 16,1975 in Mt.Sterling,KY.

Surviving are her father, Carl David (Martha) Thomas, her mother Cynthia Hart Thomas. Paternal grandmother, Jean Thomas, sons; Dakota Wayne Lawson and Michael Richard Lawson. Grandchild; Elowyn Lawson and bonus grandchild Oaklynn Rowe. Brothers; David Wayne (Alma Jo), and Michael (Becky) Thomas. Special friend and father of her children, Richard Lawson. Host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and special friend that adored her.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Seibert and Mary Hart, and paternal grandfather, Denver “Dick” Thomas.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm,Sunday,December 5,2021 in Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev.Jess Brewer officiating. Burial in the Bashford Cemetery, Frenchburg,KY. Visitation will be 11:00am, Sunday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,KY Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
