Meril Patrick

Meril Patrick, age 87, of Wellington, KY., passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in the St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY., after an extended illness. He was born June 8,1932 in Wellington, KY., a son of Noah and Ada Peyton Patrick. He was a member of the Big Woods Community Church, Wellington,KY, a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War, and a retired Hobarts factory employee.

Surviving is his wife Lola Brewer Patrick,and two daughters Patty & Junior Fugate, Kathy & Ronnie Lawson of Wellington,KY Two sons Kenny Wayne & Anita Patrick of Wellington,KY. Jerry & Debbie Patrick of Morehead,KY. Eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Four sisters, Tena Mays of Mt.Sterling,KY. Reva Keith of Middletown,OH. Bonnie Brown of Wellington,KY. Treva Back of Middletown,OH. One brother,Kenneth Patrick of Wellington,KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Noah and Ada Peyton Patrick, three sisters Lizzie Sexton, Virgie Patrick, Fern Patrick. Five brothers Claude, Jesse, Winford Charlie and Ronald Patrick.

Funeral service will be held 1:00pm,Saturday, August 17,2019 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Pastor Jess Brewer and Pastor Dean Brewer officiating. Burial in Johnston Cemetery, Wellington,KY. Visitation 6:00pm Friday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey,Funeral Director. Pallbearers: John Lawson, Todd Patrick, Oscar Brewer, Shane Smith, Benny Patrick, Brad DeHart, Jesse Morris, Doyle Patrick.
