Mr. Buford Bowman

Mr. Buford Bowman, age 85 of Wellington, Kentucky; Husband of Annis Cox Bowman; passed away Monday, July 7, 2008 at his home.

He was born November 7, 1922 in Wolfe County, KY; son of the Late W.T. Bowman & Iva Dorothy Lane Bowman.

He was a member of the Pomeroyton Union Church,Pomeroyton,Ky for twenty plus years.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Maytown for 25 years & was also employed at the Menifee Co. Job Corps.

He was preceded in death by 2 Grandchildren & 13 Brothers & Sisters.

Surviving is his Wife of 66 Years; Annis Cox Bowman of Wellington, KY; 5 Daughters; Barbara & Donald Taylor of Lexington, KY, Janice Little of Wellington, KY, Avis & Lanny Tolson of Denniston, KY, Phyllis Curtis of Jeffersonville, KY & Patricia Gaylord of Horn Lake, Mississippi; 3 Sons; Bobby & Pamela Bowman, Ronnie & Ada Bowman & Larry Bowman all of Wellington, KY; 1 Sister; Hazel Sweeney of Lexington, KY, 1 Brother; John Bowman of Jeffersonville, KY,
Numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Pomeroyton Union Church in Pomeroyton, KY with Rev. Terry Wells Officiating. Interment will follow with burial in the Pomeroyton Cemetery in Pomeroyton, KY.

Visitation will begin after 6:00 pm Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,KY & after 12:00 noon Thursday at the Church.
