Mr. Chester Barker Obituary

Mr. Chester Paul Barker, age 84 of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday April 13, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky after a brief illness.

He was born February 20, 1924 in Menifee County, Kentucky; son of the late Lon Barker & Lula Ledford Barker.

He was a retired farmer and served in the United States Army during W.W.II.

Surviving is Three Children; Paula Barker of Bell, Florida, Richard Barker of Dayton, Ohio, & Judith Barker Pekarski of Spring Hill, Florida; 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren & numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Services will be condcuted 1:00 PM Wednesday April 16, 2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Rev. Keith McGuire officiating. Interment will follow with burial in the Barker Cemetery in Frenchburg, Kentucky. Visitation will begin after 6:00 PM Tuesday at Menifee Home For Funerals in Frenchburg, Kentucky.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Morgan County D.A.V.
