Mr. David Lee Burns

Mr. David Lee Burns, age 64 of Wellington,Ky passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the King's Daughter's Hospital in Ashland , Kentucky after an extended illness.

He was born September 23, 1946 in Independent City,Virginia son of the late Hershel & Katherine Cooper Burns.

He was retired from the U.S.Navy as a Navy Seal during the Vietnam era and served in the U.S.Army during Desert Storm. He was a member of the Prince Of Peace Catholic Church,West Liberty,Ky.

Surviving is Special Friends, Valerie Rice,Morehead,Ky; Jim Ginter, Frenchburg,Ky and Sister Gayle Brabec, Frenchburg.Ky

Funeral service 11;AM.Wednesday October 27,2010 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Father Dan Edelen officiating.

Burial in the Big Woods Community Church Cemetery,Wellington,Ky.

Visitation 9;AM Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frencbhurg,Ky.

Military graveside service conducted by Morgan Co.D.A.V.Chapter # 132.
