Mr. David Lawson

Mr. David Lawson, age 77 of Denniston, KY; devoted husband & father, went to be with our heavenly father on Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Edgewood Estates Nursing Home in Frenchburg, KY.

He was born October 25, 1929 in Harlan County, Kentucky; son of the Late Herschel Lawson & Josie Luke Lawson.

He was retired from A.O. Smith and attended the First Church of God in Frenchburg, Kentucky. He also is a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He loved his God, his family, his country, and the Kentucky Wildcats.

Surviving is Wife; Kathleen Brown Lawson of Frenchburg, KY; 2 Children; LaVerne & Sherwood Fultz of Frenchburg, KY and William & Lori Lawson of Maysville, KY; also 4 Grandchildren, 1 Granddaughter-in-Law and 1 Great-Grandson.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, May 26, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Rev. Roger Wells officiating. Interment will follow with burial in the Powers Cemetery on Betty Gap Ridge Road in Denniston, KY. Visitation will begin after 7:00 pm on the evening of May 25, 2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals in Frenchburg, Kentucky.
