Mr. Gerald Helton, age 65 of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born August 20, 1941 in Wolfe County, Kentucky; son of the Late Loyd Helton and Orpha Centers Helton.
He was a retired paper mill material handler.
He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers; Denzil Helton and Tommy Helton; 2 Step-Daughters; Joye Asher & Frieda Haney.
He is survived by his Wife; Lenore Brown Helton of Frenchburg, Kentucky; 3 Daughters; Betty Jane Spencer of Lexington, Kentucky, Anna Faye Childers of Frenchburg, Kentucky and Monell Clemons of Georgetown, Kentucky; 1 Son; Allan Wayne Helton of Maytown, Kentucky; 2 Sisters; Betty Kendrick of Monticello, Kentucky and Nannie Pruitt of Gulf Shores, Alabama; 3 Brothers; Wendell Helton of Clay City, Kentucky, Charlie Helton of Campton, Kentucky and Lloyd "Bud" Helton of Miamisburg, Ohio also 16 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Step-Grandchildren and 10 Step-Great-Grandchildren
Gerald will be sadly missed by his Family and Friends, but our loss is Heaven's gain.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Menifee Home for Funerals Chapel with Rev. Gary Mayabb officiating. Burial will follow with Interment at the Powers Cemetery in Denniston, Kentucky. Visitation will begin after 7:00 p.m. Friday at Menifee Home for Funerals in Frenchburg, Kentucky.
Pallbearers: Danny Wells, Joe Mayabb, Wince Mayabb, Allen Peck, Foy Brown and Dwayne Morris.
